AMI was recently featured in a story by BBC News on the rise of advanced manufacturing in the U.S.
The story quotes AMI president Aaron Crumm explaining that high tech businesses like AMI, the world’s leading fuel cell manufacturer, are the future of manufacturing.
In the story, Crumm says, “You’ve got to have the smart people that help build it from the bottom up. We don’t forge things anymore. We use lasers to cut metal, we extrude ceramics, we do things that are different. And so because of it, we need a different labour force to make it happen.”
